ESL Tuition Program
The ESL Tuition Program is aimed towards students with a lower level of understanding of the English language. This program is for students who are having a hard time transitioning from thier primary language to an English Language School.
Taught by experienced English speakers in small groups this program focuses on the use of Phonics to help pronunciation of words.
The goal of this program is for the student to improve their English Language skills in the four functions so they can feel more confident in their speaking and writing skills.
This is an essential skill to learn if they are currently attending an International Scool. This is a program that is a stepping stone for the student to transition into the homework and/or curricular program to assist in their school studies

English Speaking and Writing
We have added on an extension and more advanced version of the standard ESL Tuition program. This part of the class will have a priority focus on Speaking/Writing to assist students with their current skills. Grade 1&2 level will be focusing the writing around grammar, and proper sentence structure.
Grades 3&4 will also work on sentences and speaking, but more of a focus will be on practicing Idiums (which are words or phrases that have a different figurative meaning than literal meaning. A basic example of this is “a rip-off” In this context we do not mean to tear something off, but we mean that something is too expensive or not worth the price being charged). Key expressions are another area of study, as this is useful in everday conversation and discussion.
