History Program
The History Tuition Program is a new addition to the programs offered at Leaders Academy. This is a program that was requested by parents and is designed to assist students to have a better understanding of the learnings they have at their respective school.
We know History isn’t the most fun or interesting topic for students to learn in school. That is why we have adopted a fun method of teaching the program.
Depending on the learning topic, and skill of the students some of these methods can include creating a comic, learning through entertaining educational videos or creating graphical timelines of hisorical events.
The History Program is available for students from primary school to pre-university, and students will be placed within similar age groups.
This allows for group learning and conversation that is relevant to the content covered in the students current school.
Like all of the programs at Leaders Academy, we keep the class sizes small. This allows the teacher to provide more individual assistance to the students, and keep the content relevant.
We generally try not to add irrelevant content or learnings that doesn’t relate to the subject covered at the students school.
Rather than overwhelm the students with more information, we try to build the program around the students current learning.
The assistance provided helps the students to grasp a better understanding of a specific timeline, or topic they may be struggling with.
Creating a different approach, and using different methods, we strive to provide the student with the skills to learn the information.
The class is offered in English, and builds on the vocaublary and language used in other tuition programs offered at Leaders Academy.
With a dedicated teacher to this program, the teacher will be able to assess and adapt the needs to each student within the small class sizes.
